Cherry Salmon Picture

Cherry Salmon are the smallest of all of the pacific salmon and behave like trout. They like dry flies and are the quickest fish I have ever tried to catch on a dry. I caught Cherry Salmon in Japan and South Korea but they can also be found in some of the coastal rivers of the Russian Far East. A big fish might get to 24 inches but most are in the 12-18 inch range. A fish in the 18 inch class will take backing.
